Narcan (naloxone) is an anti-overdose drug that can be used to treat someone who has overdosed on opioids like heroin of pain medications
Any person in the state of Washington can get Narcan from any pharmacy that prescribes it under Washington’s new standing order. You do NOT need to see a medical provider first. Simply print out the standing order document and take it to any pharmacy that stocks Narcan.
