Empathy

During a Motivational Interviewing training today, the presenter shared a video about empathy. For those of you unfamiliar with Motivational Interviewing (MI), it is an evidence-based interactional style that can be used to strengthen an individual’s innate motivation to change . A critical component of Motivational Interviewing (and healthcare in general) is empathy .

It’s also something that would improve all of our everyday interactions.
